Our Refund Policy applies to all purchases made online at www.thecandykingdom.com.
Our Refund Policy does not exclude or replace your rights given under the American Consumer Law and regulations.
Change of mind
1. If you have simply changed your mind we do not provide refunds. Perishable goods such as food items cannot be returned. Special consideration will be given in exceptional circumstances however you must be able to provide satisfactory proof of purchase and satisfactory reasoning. Further, the merchandise must be:
- in saleable condition;
- unused with all original packaging;
- returned to us with any gift or bonus received with the merchandise (if applicable);
- not subject to the exclusions listed below; and
- the exchange or refund is sought within 21 days of purchase.
Changes to existing orders
2. Change of address’s or amendments to orders must be submitted within the same business day of ordering with the subject ‘CHANGES TO MY ORDER’ to email@example.com.
3. If you believe an item is faulty, you may have rights to a remedy under the American Consumer Law.
4. If there is a major failure with an item, you may choose a refund or exchange. If the failure is minor, we will replace the relevant item within a reasonable time.
5. Candy Kingdom will require satisfactory proof of purchase before providing a remedy under the American Consumer Law. A photo must be provided to the Candy Kingdom team supporting the claim.
Refunds (if applicable)
6. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
7. Candy Kingdom, at its absolute discretion, reserves the right not to offer an exchange or refund for change of mind.
8. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
9. If the order was returned due to an incorrect address or the package was unclaimed, Candy Kingdom has the right to charge for the product to be re-shipped.
Late or missing refunds
10. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Gift or bonus with purchase and bundled items
11. If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
12. Where merchandise is purchased with a gift or bonus, the gift or bonus must also be returned (unless otherwise stated). If you are unable to return the gift or bonus, or it is not in saleable condition, the value of any available refund will be reduced by the value of the gift or bonus.
13. In the instance of bundle offers, all items within the bundle must also be returned or the value of the unreturned items will be deducted from any available refund.
Privacy when making a return
15. Information collected when returning merchandise will be securely stored for a reasonable period of time. It may be used for fraud protection activities and for the purpose of Candy Kingdom research and analysis. It may be disclosed to state and territory departments upon request, as required by law.

18. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
19. You should consider and decide whether using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
